I've located the port on the front drivers side of the block. Where would I get the fittings needed to do the oil pressure test? So far I've picked up a mechanical gauge from Autozone but I doubt it has the right fitting to screw in the block.

Check out the oil pressure sticky(adapters are listed). If I'm not mistaken, the OPS thread and the plug in the block are the same.

This is what I use...it's an adapter fitting from AutoMeter(#2268) which converts the 16mm x 1.5 block threads to 1/8 NPT. Once you have a pipe thread, you should be able to connect your gauge, either directly or with pipe adapters. I use a quick disconnect on the end of my gauge to make it easier to hook up and keep clean.
