I know this is not a corvette question, but I hope someone can help me out. My GM manual is not loading on my pc anymore, but I am looking for the instructions on how to replace the rear tailgate handle on an 04 Chevy Avalanche. I was able to remove the plastic bezel and get the handle out, but I have not been able to get the new part in. It is so close, but just will not clear the metal tab. I need to know if it requires me to remove any other parts to get it back in. Any help would be much appreciated.
