Hey guys, in what mode does the ecu have no input at all with either timing or brakes? Is it TC Off or Competition Mode? I need to know what mode I can race in that will allow 100% power to get to the wheels at all times regardless which way youre pointing or spinning the wheels. Dont want power pulled while drag racing at the track. Thnx.
If possible you should use Comp Mode when running at the drags. That way if the car starts to go sideways a brake will be applied to yaw the car back into the direction you are pointing the steering wheel. The problem with Active Handling is it resets everytime you shut off the engine and has to go a couple hundred feet in a straight line after engine start to calibrate. If it doesn't calibrate ("Warm Up") then it will shut itself off and not be useful when you launch.
Off has AH/TC off but timing as always controlled bt the computer, Comp Mode has TC off but AH is still on-might want to read your owners manual.
I know there is a mode in which torque management is off therefore the computer wont pull timing under load if you light up the wheels or if youre haulin down the track. Thats what Im trying to figure out.

Torque management is a setting in the computer. you will need a program like LS1 edit or HP tuners to adjust it.

Well, you only have 3 modes to choose from-take your best shot with it OFF or Comp Mode. The ECU will always adjust timing depending on load no matter what-torque management is a different issue.
