ported ls6 intake
now that i come to findout its not direct bolton, and my stock one is off the car now, what do i need to do to it to fit with the stock coolent lines? or do i have to fab something up?

If you dont have the correct LS6 intake coolant tubes, there is a way to make it fit. You can use a dremel tool and cut away the waffle looking pattern on the bottom of the intake in the area where the LS1 coolant tubes are hitting the bottom of the intake. You just need to grind away enough to allow the intake to sit down flat. The plastic will grind away easily and no one will know the difference once its bolted up.
I would reccomend the proper coolant tubes and plugs, but this will work if you cant get the correct tubes.
