Default Trouble resetting TPMS sensors..

I bought a magnet and went throught the procedure as stated in the forum. I'm getting 4 horn chirps after going from wheel to wheel then the DIC says "KEY FOB" yet my DIC says "high tire pressure RR".

Maybe I'm missing something..hopefully someone can help

Thank you for any info..

Programming the tire sensors does not equate to correct tire pressure. Check all four with a tire gauge, especially the right rear as 65GGvert suggested. The door sticker recommends 30 PSI COLD.

Default sorry for the delay.

I had quite a busy weekend, so I apologize for the delay. I had aftermarket rims and tires Ruff Racing 931's (black with chrome inserts) 20x10's in the rear and 19x8.5 in the front.

I am running Nexxen tires and they are set up as 37lbs in the front and 46 pounds in the rear from the shop that installed them.

I like a moron should have explained that in the beginning. When running stock rims and tires everything was fine. I was told reprogramming the TPMS would take away all warning codes on the DIC.

Then the TPS is working correctly. I cant believe you need 47 psi in the rear. The generic pressure for the stiff sidewall OEMs is 30 cold and I could see a few psi either way for different tire designs. 47 psi must give a ride like a cart; and it'll lead to premature wear in the center of the tread.

Anyway back to your question. The High pressure warning will come on over 42 psi.
