Default Tornado Fuel Saver

Anyone tried one of those Tornado fuel savers, my friend told me he installed one in his car (not a Vette) & it increased his mileage & HP. I am skeptical about it so I don't know. Anyone else hear about it or is it snake oil.

Nothing but an intake restriction...prolly why they claim fuel mileage increases because there's less airflow to match

What works best for induction is laminar flow...not rolling turbulence.

Get the real deal: HICLONE!

What is Hiclone?

"Hiclone is a simple non-moving and maintenance-free device make of stainless steel, which fits inside the air filter housing of a carburetor or in the air induction hose on EFI, turbo, LPG or diesel engines. Which creates a swirling cyclone or tornado like effect to the airflow into the intake manifold and combustion chamber of any engine".

.

Hiclone has No moving parts and will therefore out last the life expectancy of any engine.

Hiclone requires NO engine modifications and NO chemicals.

It is for these reasons that we offer a lifetime warranty and an unconditional 30 days Money-back guarantee.

Hiclone for air intake inside diameter up to 90 mm (most EFI/Diesel/Turbo engines)
$160.00 AU = $83.93 US
http://www.fuelsaver.com.au/hiclone.htm

The Hiclone must be better than the tornado fuel saver, 'cause you can use up to TWO of 'em! Can you do that with the tornado?

I can't believe that anybody would fall for that garbage. The entire concept of inducing more air by causing a funnel effect is completely flawed. Adding a funnel effect will only increase turbulance and decrease the overall airflow. But, if you put on TV it must work!? Right? WRONG!! :nonod: :nonod:

If you didn't get the promised results from the device, you obviously did not properly apply the supplied package of Zaino to your MAF screen.

GWPII, are you a distributor for this Hiclone crap? My advice is to stay away from Tornado, Hiclone, SlightBreeze or whatever they call this junk. And Please, don't come here and try to sell this garbage on this board :mad

If you want to increase gas mileage, follow my easy plan!!

Step 1) When accelerating, do it at a constant increasing speed
Step 2) If acosted by an import or Mustang, do not attempt to pursue
Step 3) If wanting to go over the speed limit, make sure one uses the cruise control
Step 4) Make sure not to go above 100mph for over 5 second intervals.

I mean come on... who in the hell would put something like that in their car. I hope there is someone on here so we can beat them with a broom handle. Who in their right mind would think that by putting something that restricts air flow, it would increase their MPG. Like someone said, maybe its just because less air = less oppurtunity to burn more fuel.
