Yeah, I'm just curious. I've been thinking about at some point down the road dynamatting the entire car. If I decide to do it I will most likely take the padding out unless it will mess up the carpet. I saw in a video that Pratt and Miller built some all carbon fiber C6 Z's and to save weight they dynamatted the entire car to save weight. So since I was thinking about doing it anyway for my stereo(I know that adds some weight) I'm not doing a crazy system but it does rattle some. Basicly now i'm curious if they actually saved a significant amount of weight. Seems like a lot of work for 10lbs if you know what i mean!
They had a sale last fall edead 80 $1.50 sq ft

Yep, bought 100 sq ft for 150.00 bucks (of course shipping killed me!). I did my F-body and still have two rolls left, overkill yes, but I had planned on doing more. I will be doing the Z06 now that I have the interior out for a water leak, hopefully this weekend...
I can sell it to you guys for 15% under their website pricing. The other options like edead are cheaper, but I don't like the butyl rubber tarlike stuff and it's much heavier. I only plan to do it once so I spent money on the product that I personally preferred to have in my car for weight purposes. This DEI stuff is sticky as heck, but when pulled up if you ever have to it stays together. I have removed the dynamat/edead stuff from a car before and it was . Budget can definitely define what you want though, as the edead is CHEAP in price comparison. I only did from the hump behind teh seats back (FRC) and spent close to $200. That does include over wheel wells and the rear panel
Yeah I used the cheap stuff in my Formula and the interior of the car smells like that stuff in the summer and in the spare tire well i have a tar pool! I will definatly use the better product when I decide to do this.
