There is a company next to where I work "SKYBITZ". They provide satellite tracking for the trucking industry and others. I'm not sure what they may offer in the way of monitoring the car's systems and reporting this to a central location of your choosing, but they do offer a tracking device that is the size of a cell phone. With the service, this device can be tracked via satellite and be displayed on a nation wide map to show location and other info, like speed. I know that they have set these things up to interface with refrigerator trailers and monitor temps and can control the AC units remotely. I'm sure they do more as well. I'm sure for the right money they could find a way to interface with obdII port on the vette to monitor codes and relay that info.
They have a product where you can set a vertual fence and anytime the device leaves this area your cell phone or other, will be contacted. You can then run to your computer, call up a map, and find out where your car is (or the device anyway). I was talking with one of the folks that works there (while having a smoke), he has one of these in each of his cars and tracks his children when they use the cars. We laughed.
