Ride control Switch

Can anyone tell me what the adjustment switch on the console do, for the ride control. Its the one with touring, performance on it. What does it control?

It controls the shocks and how stiff or smooth the ride is.

I always wonder if they do anything at all. Mine has the three settings and I swear they all seem the same. Would love to know 'exactly' what changes with each setting.

Switch from Touring to Performance and you should feel a difference, if not, your butt-nerves might be shot. The car should go from a nice firm ride to a rather choppy ride. I drive in Sport all the time, but when I switch to either of the other two settings, the ride is noticeably different. Check to see if you have a code on it.

Mine doesn't change but mine is also lowered. Hence making the ride control useless.
