Default Introducing HeaderDesign.com

After a long research and development period, I have finally put HeaderDesign.com on the web! I am certain you will find great value in a subscription to HeaderDesign.com, especially if you are planning to upgrade the performance of your engine. A header-based exhaust system can be designed to exactly match your Corvette's engine specs and operating requirements.

If you have questions about HeaderDesign.com, headers and collectors in general, or the interaction between headers and the rest of your engine, just post it and I will answer it as best I can.

How much are your headers? Any dyno numbers?

HeaderDesign.com is an engineering company. You can subscribe to the site and use our Header Design Program to size your header and collector diameters and lengths. We want to make sure you don't end up with the wrong headers. Headers need to be carefully matched to the performance level of your engine.

Sounds like a great service and already you provided valuable information on a header question on this forum, thank you and welcome!

Seems like the service would be real valuable for those building high performance racing applications. But is it overkill for someone like me who just wants to know if he should go with TPIS or Belanger headers, cam or no cam? I don't need the technical details, I just want a bit more power with the least amount of pain and real world feedback from others who have experience.

Thanks for your input, and I'm glad to give some advice. The header program on the site is actually very easy to use, and will tell you very quickly what size headers to use after your performance mods are complete. In-depth analysis and design is available to commercial users.

No offense, but most of us are on the forum to gain knowledge about our cars. We don't charge each other for this. Why do you charge a subscription to tell someone which headers are right for them. It isnt like we will take the information and run the garage and fabricate some home made headers and install them on our $50,000 cars. Generally businesses pay to have the benifits of thier products advertised...if your charging the consumer for this...good luck JMO...take it with a grain of salt, Im not God.

I think that your service would help some but the choice of headers, length and diameter is limited to a few choices, if you could find someone who built headers by spec that would help.

The idea of finding the optimum header design for a particular engine combo is great, but like someone else said, it's not practical for most consumers to have a custom set of headers built. We have some really knowledable and experienced supporting tuners/venders (LG, LPE...ect) and they are willing to help (for free) anyone with a question on headers. A program like yours would most likely be useful to only the hardcore tuners/fabricators or a race team with adjustable headers..............not a diss....just an opinion.
