Default Best price on Headers

Hey Guys-
I've been wanting to get new headers on my 2001 for a while now. I've been doing research and seen some people got LT headers for 500 and others paid 1800. That's a huge span. Can anyone point me to the best priced headers on the market. Also, I've been reading the the X pipe does not do alot for performance. Any opinions? Last thing, In vegas they just plug in the computer reading for smog check, does this mean I can eliminate my cats too and not have to purchase high flow cats if I have them tuned out? Any other helpful advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Kyle

Can you name that sponsor? Or at least PM the name? I'm interested, too. For now, I'm thinking the new OBX catted system for less than a grand shipped. Open to other options, though.

He did name the sponsor. Read slower. OBX is the low price leader with good results. Next up would be LG Streets. Then the Dynatechs. Just my opinion.

I did read slow enough. I just need to read a few beers earlier. When you list them in this order, are you saying that the LG streets are lower priced than the dynatechs? That hasn't been my experience so far. Just curious.

By price, lowest to higher. OBX, LG Streets, Dynatech. By quality, from best to OK. LG Streets, Dynatech, OBX.

How can you judge quality on all three? Have you had all three?

Please explain what the issues are with the Dynatech and OBX when compared to the LG's

I agree with the price comparrison but I would hope your not going to judge quality from what you have read and hear say but from what you have personally seen and experianced.

Somehow customer service always seems to be overlooked, or not considered with "quality".

So from the three vendors listed, how many are supporting vendors of this forum? How many field customer service calls, answer installation questions, etc? If you had a quality issue, which one of the three mentioned would take the longest to rectify a problem? How long? Hours? Days? Weeks?

First I haven't bashed LG and don't plan to.

Camjamsdad posted his order of quality:
"from best to OK. LG Streets, Dynatech, OBX."

I asked:
"Please explain what the issues are with the Dynatech and OBX when compared to the LG's."

I wanted to know what the difference was.

Then Lucky you posted this:
"Somehow customer service always seems to be overlooked, or not considered with "quality".
So from the three vendors listed, how many are supporting vendors of this forum? How many field customer service calls, answer installation questions, etc? If you had a quality issue, which one of the three mentioned would take the longest to rectify a problem? How long? Hours? Days? Weeks?"

So you are saying that LG's are a better product because of better customer service, etc and I'm just showing you that they are no better than anyone else. I'm sure LG or any other supplier will stand behind their product.

Now with just comparing the headers only what is the difference in quality? As if you had one of each laying out on the floor, what would you see in a difference in these? Has anyone had experience with all three?
