I have had them on my car since July of '08. The fit and finish is excellent. I did a lot of reading in here about the various brands and what I really liked about the Melrose was they are TRULY bolt on. No need to cut the tunnel plate for O2 sensor clearance, no need for harness adapters, nothing. Just bolt them on and go. Their complete system with Random Tech high flow cats uses both the front and rear O2's and even though I did eventually have the rears tuned out, I never got a code running them. The coating still looks brand new and my car is a daily driver that sits outside year round two blocks from the Gulf of Mexico!
I have had them on my track car for about 6 yrs.. Good fit and finish is ok, I live 100' from Galveston bay so it is a bit moist around here and they are just starting to show a bit of rust but that is to be expected around here.. Inland I am sure you will not have that problem..
Other than that...
There's a well-known Chevy guru who writes books and magazine articles, named Dave Emanuel. He published several results on Melrose Corvette installations, and he seems totally sold on them.
They are coated mild steel, not stainless; many debates on the pros/cons of each material.

Actually they are double coated. They're made of aluminized steel and they are ceramic coated. I have found the coating to be extremely durable.
The epa crap vent tube will crack at the weld on the header over time so do yourself a favor before install, either put another bead or two of weld around it or grind it off and weld it up. Otherwise, the headers are a work of art and will improve performance as well as any out there.
