Just did the longtube swap on the T1 car and found liquid fouling on the #7 and #8 plugs. Initially thought it was coolant (water and Water Wetter) and was thinking intake manifold issue but after looking at the service manual (in a fog at about 3am) I don't see where there is a coolant passage in the rear of the manifold. The car is an 02 Z06.
All the other plugs are fine......
Anyone else ever seen this issue? Am looking for a single point of failure I might have overlooked that effects the back two cylinders...(causing oil or coolant fouling)

Leakdown test on the agenda..........will be looking at the plugs again today (with my glasses this time) to verify the oil/coolant issue. My initial thoughts it was coolant were due to some 'running hot' issues we had this last year. Swapped water pump, t-stat, flushed radiator and spring wired the radiator hoses (in case of high speed collapse) and the problem went away in September and October.
We do have a (new) spare bullet sitting on the shelf........this would make a nice donor motor for the 2000 Coupe I am looking to buy with a high mileage motor..........
It was oil. Going to scope the cylinders and do a compression/leakdown to see what's what..........found a bit of oil on #5 too so its just not the back pair of cylinders. Not much........just enough to make you start taking a closer look........
Checked the catch can, pulled the T/B and airbridge to see what was there. Small drop in front of the throttle plate and only film really behind it. Had some in the airbridge but I think that was pre-catch can install.
