Default New C5 Owner - Computer Code History ??'s

Not to long ago I picked up a 1998 C5 Coupe with 65k miles.

The car runs great except for the faulty fuel gauge droping to E occasionally. I am running Techron through it now in hopes to fix that.

I came across how to read the computer codes through the DIC.

All the codes were History codes but would like to know if I should be concerned by any of the past codes.

10-PCM

P1431H - Fuel Level Sensor 2 Circuit Performance (Cause of Gas Gauge issue??)

60-IPC

U1176H - Loss of Communication with RFA

U1040H - Loss of Communication with TCS

U1016H - Loss of Communication with PCM

A1-RDCM

B2253H - Key cylinder switch fault

B2265H - Horizontal Position Sensor Fault

B2283H - Battery 1 Fault

B2285H - Battery 2 Fault

U1064H - Loss of Communications with BCM

A0-LDCM

B2282H - Battery 1 Fault

B2284H - Battery 2 Fault

U1064H - Loss of Communications with BCM

Thanks for any help!

I am mostly concerned if something seems out of the ordinary for that year car and mileage.

You don't really need to worry about any H codes unless you are looking for clues to diagnose a current problem. You may as well delete them if there are no issues.

clear them and see if they re-occur , but the loss of communication codes are so common I don't think you need to worry about them

Comms codes can be caused a LOW Charged battery. If the car was not driven recently and the battery was LOW, that could have caused the problems during the start sequence. Just clear them and see if any return.
