The drivers window is loose tiping in and out. I'm looking for How to's on getting the panel off and tightening the window to fix the rattle.
Anybody done this before?
Thanks,
Rick

To get the panel off, pop off the small piece behind the door handle and remove the screws. Then take a flat butter knife and insert it under the panel at the bottom and gently pry it away. They're just those weird plastic 'bolts' that are press fit. Work your way around and it will all pull away at the bottom. Reach in from the bottom and disconnect the plug for the power windows. Life up to get the panel off.

Bugster57,
The driver side window on my 1999 C5 coupe (22,000 miles) also rattles when it moves in and out (grasping the top of the window glass and moving it back and forth).

We would love to see the file, it can't hurt. Mine is a lil loose as well. I've been debating on whether to try and fix it myself, or have someone else do it. Guess i'll give it a shot! :yesnod:
