Default Did I miss anything

Last fall I purchased a set of new LS6 heads for my 2000vet. Since it appeared that I needed a tune to benefit from this install and that the closest reputable tuner was about 5 hours away I decided to do a cam, etc. as well. Since this should be the last moded car that I'll be doing and as I miss the loop sound of my old cammed 79 I decided to do a full H/C.

So after many posts I received many recommendations, i.e. don't port your heads, just clean and polish them - which I did.

In April the car will be going to a reputable builder, installer, tuner, here in Canada "Devon".

So - what if anything did I miss? My goal is to run in the high 11's from my present 12.4.

This is what I have:

Already on car

- Ls-6 intake
- 160 stat
- air intake
- LT's, Xpipe, highflow CATS
- 3.42 gear
- yank 3200 stall
- yellaterra 1.7 rockers

Bringing

- new LS 6 heads - to be milled to 10.9"
- PAC 158 springs
- CAM VRX-2 - 224-228 581-588 114
- T.F. pushrods
- Oil pump - melling 10296
- double roller chain
- Ford 30 injectors
- LS 7 lifters
- gaskets - heads, exhaust, water pump, front cover
- head bolts
- spark plugs NGK Iridium TR55 iX
- power bond pulley - bolt - belt - UD25%
- LS 6 valley cover
- LS 6 lifter trays
- mag. drain plug
- oil sending unit relocation kit
Thanks for all your previous recommendations and any others you might provide.

Just add fluids and you are good to go. Should be well into the 11s.

Mine as well put some cadi racing lifters in there as well while you got the heads off!

You probably don't need them but it looks like your doing it right so thats what i would do!

I would stick with the LS7 lifters unless you want high end - then Morels would be what I recommend. Head studs would also be an upgrade and ARP Crank Bolt. New header gaskets maybe? Looks like a pretty complete list though assuming you have all the gaskets, new bolts, fluids, etc.
