Tranny fluid change???????
Hey wuts up every one. I have a 2001 Z06 with about 86k on it. I wanted to do a tranny fluid change on it. I have never done a fluid change on it before and i wanted to know some things.
It is a 6 speed manual tranny, stock. It is located in the rear of the car.
I was wondering is there anything i should know, when i do the change?
Is it only just a drain and fill?
Is it hard?
What kind of fluid?
Whats the best brand?
How much fluid?
Is there a filter?
Is it pressurized?
Is there anything else i should know??

it's a PITA because of how high the fill hole is. you'll probably have to use a piece of hose or something connected to the end of the gear oil bottle and basically squirt it in that way. i can't remember the details on the fluid so i'll let someone else respond
