Default What sensor is this?
I saw I was leaking some fluid at the rear end, and it looks to be coming out of this sensor (see below pic). What sensor is this? Is it common to leak/come loose? I changed the tranny fruild and diff fluid probably 10,000 miles ago and it hadnt leaked before that.

soooo anybody? Is it even a sensor? It doesnt have a plug going into it at all. Also if somebody could tell me the size it is? I cant seem to get a wrench big enough in there without having to take off the axle back but it seems like it could be a 1 5/16''? I need to know so i can buy a deep socket to try and tighten it.

That is the 1-4 skip shift solenoid, not sure what size deep socket is needed.

Ahhhh Thank you sir! I didnt want to mess with it till I knew what it was. Now if somebody can tell me what size it is i'll be all set!
