03 z and just wondering what the thread size is on the shift ****?

9/16- 18 or 9/16-20?

That's funny, I purchased a die that is 9/16-18 and it didn't fit the thread. I was cutting a half inch off to lower the 8 ball shift. I got luck and didn't damage the threads, now it looks cool and feels great. The die is now just sitting in my Tap & Die set. I think it is the later 9/16 - 20. Good luck..

Not sure what happened her but... I can assure you per personal experience and the service manual it is 9/16-18
