Default Intake leak and noise problem solved (probably)

A few days ago I posted a thread with a video in this section about a noise that I was hearing on my 02 Z06. And I want to thank all of you for the responses and suggestions

Here is a link to the thread with the engine noise :

Well, I think I found the problem after digging into it tonight and I wanted to pass the info along.

When I pulled the intake off I found 4 small allen head screws sitting on top of the valley pan. I flipped the intake over and looked at the metal plate attached to the underside of the intake. I then found that out of 14 screws, 4 were all the way out and only 3 were snug. All the rest of them were so loose I could turn them by hand. I pulled the passenger side head just to take a look at the lifters and get a peek at the cam. Everything looked just fine

The noise was like nothing I've ever heard before ... sort of like a cross between a pig in heat squealing and a woodpecker drilling holes through vinyl siding.

I'll be making a nice little parts run for gaskets and other stuff and putting it back together next week.

Here is a picture of the plate I am talking about on the underside of the intake manifold :
