Don't beat me as I haven't read the manual or service manual yet but....
Filled the tires yesterday as they were low and the new pressure readings didn't show up on the DIC right away. Two wheels (one front and one back) actually took driving about a mile down the road before they all of a sudden appeared as what the hand gauge said.
Is this normal or a sign of something going wrong?
Normal-they actually turn off after not turning for awhile to conserve their batteries. Usually takes a mile or so to start reading again when your moving.

They should turn on around 20 MPH. There is a reed switch in them that activates at that speed. Like mentioned above, it is meant to save the batteries.
