Default Air Pump Vacuum Line

So I was doing a header install three weeks ago and realized that my new headers didnt have the AIR hose adapters on them. No big deal, so to help clean up the engine bay, I removed all the AIR hoses and the pump that sits underneath the driverside headlight. I ended up with a vacuum line and an electrical plug.

My questions is: Do I need to get a cap or cover for the electrical plug AND, all I need to do is just plug up the vacuum line, correct?

Thanks
Nate

I think it'll throw a code that you're going to need to tune out.

Nope Predator wont do it for you! Your going to need EFI Live or HP Tuners and YES,,,your going to get a DTC.

If you dont secure the plug, it will eventually get corroded and give you issues. The vacuum needs to be capped.

I would like to do this too! A local speed shop indicates that they can easily do it, but I'm concerned with inspection in New Jersey. Also, is there any long term down side to this? Thanks!

If the report flag is turned OFF,,,the Emission flag cant be set and wont be reported as bad. Its a very common tuning thing.
