So I was doing a header install three weeks ago and realized that my new headers didnt have the AIR hose adapters on them. No big deal, so to help clean up the engine bay, I removed all the AIR hoses and the pump that sits underneath the driverside headlight. I ended up with a vacuum line and an electrical plug.
My questions is: Do I need to get a cap or cover for the electrical plug AND, all I need to do is just plug up the vacuum line, correct?
I would like to do this too! A local speed shop indicates that they can easily do it, but I'm concerned with inspection in New Jersey. Also, is there any long term down side to this? Thanks!
