We just installed my 408 Monster and it did crank ONE time... gas flew everywhere as the injector rail came up. We shut it down and it never cranked again. There is no fire coming from the coil packs from any of them. We grounded them to the heads then to the block. Power is going to the pink wire in the harness as it should. I have checked the fuses, the relays, and like I said power is going to the harness. Neither side will fire anything. The car has been sitting for about 4 years so thats why it looks so rough. Its a 97 c5. Anyone have any suggestions on where to look next?
We are thinking possibly the crank sensor. Thats going to be a JOB to change out because of the LTs. Hate to do that if its not the sensor. Is there some type ground that I missed? Does it ground to the coil pack bracket or the valve covers at all? Mine are painted thats why im asking. Before pulling them off and scratching off paint I just wanted to verify.
Brand new battery. Plus we had the charger on it because it was purchased about 3 months ago and just sat waiting for this install. It turns the engine wide open. Just no spark. New NGKs. I mean no fire from the coil packs. i can see one being bad or something but no fire..
I checked all fuses and also no this car sat for almost 4 years motorless. fuel is there as you can see from the pics below air is there. Just no fire. I took off one wire to see if it would arc and it didnt wouldnt.

It doesn't take anything but a starter and 12v to make the engine crank. Is the battery still good?

How does this happen if the injector rail is installed?

So you are not using a corvette engine harness? The corvette harness already has provisions for grounding the coil packs at G107(rear drivers side head).
No start problems are easy to troubleshoot, but you need to provide detailed information to facilitate those helping you.
