before i tear the back of my car apart maybe one of you guys can point me in the right direction, there is somthing loose and rattling around driver side rear its sounds like somthing is about to fall off the car, what is back in that area that could be loose?it sounds like its inside the car not underneath,i have to fix this,it is driving me crazy.
How is the rattling occuring? For instance, I used to get a knocking sound in the back on the left rear. It would only happen when turning sharp corners. After getting it back on the lift. I found that I didn't tighten my coilovers up properly to the chassis, and the screws backed out slightly.
it happens when driving over an uneven road surface, bumps, pot holes, and it is diffinently drivers side rear, checked the end links with the car on the ground and wheels lifted off the ground they seem tight is there another way of checking them?
Check the top bolts on the rear shock and the upper control arm bolts-if they're coming loose,it's going to sound like it's inside the car.
Not really a whole lot INSIDE the car to rattle, unless you're carrying something in the storage compartments that's bouncing around on rough roads.

OK.so i am looking under the car not in it not much behind the carpeted panals to rattle around ,i will start turning nuts and bolts on the underside of the car, thamks for the input guys
My end links felt tight when I checked them on the car. It wasn't until removed them that I could see the difference. I also had the original plastic end links and replaced them with the later model metal ones. Replaced the stabilizer bushings at the same time. Haven't had a problems since.

It didn't take much movement for them to make it sound like the rocks bouncing in the back. I also had the original plastic end links and replaced them with the later model metal ones. found it ,one of the shock mounting bolts had backed out and that caused the shock mount ear to break in half, was the shock rattling in the opening, quick trip to friends welding shop and its better than new, thanks for pointing me in the right direction
