Default C5 Z06 Exhaust Install Question

I'll soon be replacing the stock mufflers on my 2002 coupe with the titanium Z06 mufflers. How high do I need to get the rear end up in the air to have enough clearance to remove the old and install the new?? I don't have a lift ... and would like to do it myself ... but am limited by what can be accoplished with convention jacks.

Like 32" You will need to put the front tires up on some 2X6 planks to keep the front end from touching the ground when its jacked up that high.

BE CAREFUL!

Is that 32" HIGHER than it currently sits .... or do I need a total of 32" of clearance? Either way, I'm rethinking plans to do it myself. Thanks.

My dad got his GHL's done recently for $50, and 30 minutes of his time.

I used 2 layers of 2x8's 30 " long. Screwed 2 sets of that together so now it's 16" wide x 30 " long 2 thickness of 2 x's. Put my floor jack on that and used a 4" thick wood block on top of jack, and all of that under the cross member of the rear end. Now getting the car high enough to get that set up under the cross member is another task. If you have everything already unbolted before you go up high you can just roll out the stock muffler. If you don't have the right equipment it can be dangerous.
