Changing Torque converter & fluid help.
I am changing the torque converter along with the filter. I bought dexron VI to use. My question is:
How much fluid will be in the tranny when the converter is removed & the pan drained? I don't have a "flush" system & the book calls for 11 quarts for the change. I talked to a GM guy & he said that mixing dex 3 & dex 6 is ok. Is there anyway of getting the fluid out of the tranny when the pan is off & converter out?
