DRL, blinker, relays problem
I have the following symptoms:
-front parking lights do not turn on (rears do)
-If left blinker is on, the left rear blinks, right rear does not, and both front blinkers blink.
-If right blinker is on, the right rear blinks, left rear does not, and both front blinkers blink.
-With engine on, an audible repetitive clicking can be heard from the instrument panel. It appears to be coming from relays 38 and 40, since I can feel these two relays as they click. They are the DRL/blinker relays.
-If I turn my blinker on, either left or right, the relays stop clicking, and both left and right blinker arrows start flashing. Once the turn is complete, the relays start clicking again.
I replaced every exterior bulb except backup lights and right rear light. No change.
Last week my fog lights wouldn't work until I pulled fuse #2. I'm thinking I have some weird gremlins going on here. Not sure what to try next.

Greg

It seems like alot of people can read the schematics in the factory manual, I'm still struggling to understand fully, but slowly getting there. Although I wasted another saurday, I did save big bucks had I brought into the dealer so that alone makes it worthwhile!

If that SP continues to give you issues, inspect it again and look for female pins with poor connections. Theres a small metal tong in each female pin that makes TIGHT connections with the male pin. Some times, that tong gets bent back and thats where the poor connection issues begin.
Ive also found that it a good idea to add some ANTI CORROSION compound to those non water tight connectors. I DO NOT recommend using Dielectric grease. Here is what I use but there are other compounds for this specific purpose:
