I recently purchased a fast 92 intake and throttle body for my 04 ls6 in my trans am. I do have a decent cam, 42lb. injectors, headers, true dual exhaust, cai, and it is tuned to match the stock ls6 intake that came on my 2002 ls1. My question is can anyone tell me if I would still be able to drive my car after the swap before I get it tuned again? I just don't want it to sit in my driveway for a week. Thanks, Brian

Yeah you will be fine. I have a 237/242 .609 112lsa cam headers and so on on my Vette. I just did the FAST 92 swap and it runs just fine better than it did with the LS6. I cant get mine tuned until I get a new clutch in.
thanks, the last time mine was tuned the clutch was shot and it slipped bad. I'm hoping that the new intake and a new tune with a good clutch makes some difference

It'll run richer after the swap. I'd get it tune once you can.
It's a far less difference as the tune goes, than a cam change, so it'll run OK for quite a while. My biggest issue was getting the idle to NOT hang when I pushed in the clutch. When I added my FAST 90 to an earlier H/C install, the car felt like it was on cruise control. I could take my foot off the gas pedal, and the car would just hold it's speed. Very annoying.
