This morning got in the car to go to work. Turned on the ac unit (dual climate control). My wife wanted a little warmer than my side. Ended up can change the temp on her side but not on my side. Turn the dial and stays at 68-69-68-69 over and over again. Then it won't turn off. Get home this evening take out the fuse in the engine bay still no workee. Take off negative cable for 30 minutes still no workee. I am about to get out the sledge hammer and start beating this car to death with several of the electrical issues I have had lately. Any ideas and suggestions for fixes will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, well I think we can assume the one adjuster **** has failed. If you are handy with the DVM, you can disasseble the havc controller itself and check through the circuits otherwise you can simply buy another one. One or more of the forum vendors carries them and/or can repair them for you. I'm thinking I saw that JW Motoring does it but please don't hold me to it. Its probably a bad solder joint on the main IC inside but its just a guess.
Thank you David. I had that in the back of my mind but was hoping it would not be the case. I was considering having JW do the led mod to my radio and hvac so this may very well be the time to send it to him and get new lights and fix the *****. I appreciate the help and information.
I noticed tonight that several of the indicator lights for the buttons are no longer lit up too, so this thing is going bad.

Hey Allen, The lamps will fail over time. They can be replaced with a soldering gun and I've got a source of supply for them if you don't have them changed out to LED's.
