Well first off ... I don't know why people are so jealous of us Corvetteers.
I was looking to make Ol Bessie (I name all my cars) a little faster. I can't get nobody to sell me any hi-performerance parts because they only know pickup trucks around these parts so I come here for help from folks like me who know almost everythang.
I want to get me a set of them power bands to put in my ride, but the parts guys around here pretend they don't know what I am talking about. I did find a guy on the east coast who said he could get em but they was like 10 bucks each for the red ones and 20 bucks for the green ones. That seems kinda pricey. Are the green power bands twicet as good as the red ones ? Where do I put em ? Anybody got some used power bands they aint using anymore for a good price ?

Well I can tell you, my grandpapy would say you need to get the GMC (General Messy Crap) powerbands. Because they are better than the Chevrolet ones. He used to tell me, "sonny boy go to the junk yard and get me some more rusty parts to put on my General Messy Crap truck, because that's the way we do it round these parts."
He also posted in the wrong forum. He should have posted in the C4 forum. I think the C4 generation corvettes are beginning to finally hit the streets in Oklahoma.
