Summit and Jegs both have deeper pans for our trannies (the 4L60E is pretty popular), maybe one of them has an integrated drain. Otherwise, any auto parts store has a drain plug kit that you can simply drill and bolt onto the stock pan in a couple minutes.

I think that's a fill hole rather than a drain hole. With engine running and tranny in neutral, trans temp 86'F-122'F, the fluid level should be even with the lower edge of the hole. If you shut off the engine, a quart or two will puke out of the hole, but there is still several quarts left in the pan. I think.....
