time for new shifter
bought my 03 z/06 new ,shifter was pasasable for 50k then I found myself missing gears,plus I found myself precisely shifting just to be assured in would go in gear.Did research didn't know which to buy but settled on a kirban it was the cheapest,the best made, all billet alum and stainless, and all grade 8 hardware and even thought I buy things on the world market I ALWAYS weight heavily things made foreign...BUT the kirban is made in USA.I saw on another thread Bill Curlee stated that the kirban is the best shifter he has ever had...now take it from a lifelong stick guy this is the best shifter I ever had it made my car a TOTALLY different carAnbybody considering a shifter this is the one. The hardest part of the job is getting the consol off comes w/easy detailed instructions 1-2 hour job.You will be amazed at the difference ...I was
