I used the yellow dye and let it run 10 mins till the ac button was blinking from loss compression. I could only find just a little bit of the dye on the bottom of the compressor not much at all though probly 5 or 6 dots is that enough to leak a entire freon charge in three days, I was thinking I would see a huge leak and paint splatter somewhere. Is there somewhere under the dash I should look too

Check the drain under the evaporator just behind the battery, could be leaking inside the cover and will come out the drain. have to jack your car up and look for the 3 rubber drain tubes, squease them and see what comes out. If you found some leakage at the compressor you need to change that also, it wont get better.

If the pressure is too low for the compressor to actually kick on, you may not see a lot of the dye.
