I used the radio shack simulators ( 4 10 ohm 10 watt wire woumnd resistors - less than $3 00). they've been on for over 3 years and 40K miles. The reliablity is wonderful.

These do the same thing as the pricey sims. Mine have been on since 2006.
Bought the simulators from a forum member for about half the price of new. Installed the C6 Z51 shocks and simulators...the difference is unbelievable.

I want to make sure I understand where you put the resitors.
You plug them into the body harness where the shock would normally plug in.?
Also did you buy a matching plug?
How did you attach the resistor leads to the body plug? Any pics; Thanks. I am on the same road you are but slightly behind you. I had a set of takeoffs' I put on my car at 80,000 miles but due to nice Miss katrina they were underwater a while but given the cost I gave them a try. Looks like water may have entered somehow. When I hit any type of bump they sound like a sledge hammer in the wheel well. I really don't want to spend the big $$ for RTR shocks again. Thanks vettdvr
