Default Can anyone identify this large bolt?

Like the topic says, can anyone identify the large bolt in this pic? It is 6.5 inches long with a 15mm head. It was probably something normally removed during a clutch swap, which I had done last Tuesday. Noticed a rattle driving today when making turns or going over bumps, tracked it down and found this bolt laying on the bottom inside area of the front fender just in front of the door, below were the side vent in the fender is. I presume it was dropped there from the clutch install and no one fished it out. I'm hoping the shop would have replaced it with another bolt if they couldn't find this one, hope something else isn't about to fall off the car... Of course it could have been there for years, but the rattle was new... I haven't had a chance to get the car jacked up and crawl around looking for anything amiss. Any input appreciated.

Maybe one of the bolts that mounts the starter.

That's a stock head bolt.

If its not a head bolt then it could be an intake manifold bolt.

looks like a bolt that holds the A/C compressor on to the block. Too clean to be a head bolt.

Here's a photo I just took of one of the head bolts that came out of my 2001.

Note not only the size is the same, the flanged head is the same, but you can also see what the thread engagement was, which appears identical to the OP's pic.

It's a head bolt, no question about it.

Correct indeed as it is a TTY bolt and has the shoulder below the head. Great CSI work

Wow, that was seriously some great CSI work by all. I was halfway expecting no responses to the thread, lol. Thanks to all, Y2Kvert4me especially for taking the time to post a pic to remove all doubt.

As a matter of fact the original engine was drinking coolant and a cracked block/damaged head was found so the dealership replaced it under warranty just a couple weeks after I purchased the car. Gotta be getting close to a year ago now.

Not sure why it didn't even cross my mind minor detail that is and all... Literally never even thought about that for a second as the source. Guess I was just thinking it was something new with the clutch work done within a few days of noticing this. Oh well.

They had pulled the heads to investigate the engine problems before yanking the engine, so I'm sure this was lost into the abyss then. My current engine is a crate motor replacement so I'm sure this is just a leftover.

Thanks again, once less thing to worry about.
