Default No Comm. on DIC

126k miles on my 99 and up until last night they had been problem free. Started car up and every light and error on the dash went off. Some guages went to max and some went to min., windows dont work, headlight only come on manually (no twilight), hatch wont open with FOB or buttom, no FOB funtions at all and error codes on the DIC are popping up so fast I cannot hit the reset button fast enough to clear them. Drove the car home with no problems and even thought the reduced engine was displaying the engine ran as normal. Turn car off in garage and now nothing works at all, it wont even turn over. Tried to run codes and all sections come back with the "No Comm." error.

I assume that this is either a fuse, relay, or computer module. But as I mentioned I have never had a single breakdown with the exception of the sterring column lock. And therefor my knowledge is very limited, this is nothing more than a daily driver so I have no weekend warrior experience like most of you do.
Can somebody point me in a direction of what to check or what may have failed. I dont even know what fuses I should start checking. I have tools and meters to do basic testing and any repairs needed, its just fortunately (or maybe its unfortunately) out my 3 vehicles this is the one that never breaks down.

Thanks

Dead Battery, bad battery connections, bad ground(s) are a place to start. No Comm usually is low voltage to the computers.

I see this three times a week. Its simple for me! You MOST LIKELY have one or both of the following issues;

Your BCM is WET.. If its wet, let me know.

Your Class II Serial Buss is compromised.

Open BOTH doors, grasp the rubber accordion tube in your fingers and grab the wires inside the tube. Once you have a grip on them, shake the hell out of them and see if your symptoms change. If it changes, let me know.
