The 6P calipers were designed to employ the same pad as is OE on Corvette C5 and C6 applications. This high performance pad style is available in more compounds ranging from street use to full race than that of any other pad, including many compounds available directly from Baer!
Utilizing the same technology often only found in competition motor sport brake systems costing thousands more, Baer has created one of the most powerful brake systems for the money ever offered by Baer! With features like internal cross-over tubes, standard powder coated finishes in Red, Black or Silver, slotted, drilled and zinc washed rotors in either 13” or 14”, the NEW Pro Plus brake system is sure to look as good as it performs!
Systems contain all necessary mounting brackets and hardware, and even come with stainless steel braided hoses, except where noted. All components meet DOT specifications and are street legal in all 50 states. Ask our competition if theirs is!
While designed to fit most popular 17” or larger wheels, our 13” version will even fit some 16” wheels! To verify fit in any wheel, please download our brake template to check your wheel for clearance. Note: Baer recommends that you check any wheel at any diameter for clearance as wheel center designs also have an effect on caliper clearance.

I'll post a side by side comparison in a few days. We are swapping a set onto a car right now that has the equivalent of a C5 system on it already. (Baer GT+ kit).

Two piece calipers can flex, the Mono block will not.
•Stiffest possible caliper design. The single most important performance element of any caliper, stiffness is the ability of the caliper to maintain its shape under all braking conditions. This optimizes the pad to rotor interface and provides the highest possible force while delivering the best “feedback” to the driver under the widest possible braking conditions.
