I've done quite a few searches on this, but here is my situation.
I changed out the clutch fluid and now when pushing in the clutch pedal it squeaks a large amount, both while pushing it in and letting it out.
I've read this is because of two reasons:
1. A spring needs to be lubed
2. Need a specific GM clutch fluid made to not squeak.
It seems awfully coincidental to be #1? But then I've been running this same clutch fluid for months now? I just wanted to re-flush the system as it was black again.
Any help on the specific fluid I need if it is issue #2? A location to buy it?
I changed my clutch fluid to DOT 4 and got a squeak afterward. It quit after about 4 days of use and has never return. I would suggest just giving it some time and usage. I believe you will find it will stop making the noise.
Thanks, I'll try that out. This is embarrassingly loud though, haha. I don't drive the car much, I wonder if i sit there and just pump it for a bit if it'll go away.
