Default Worth ditching BBK?

So, my Vette had a BBK throttle body and manifold already installed when I bought it. I've read quite a bit on here about them, and there seems to be a whole lot of "opinions" and not so much in the way of facts. I am not a BBK enthusiast (never even heard of them till I bought this car), so I will not argue one bit if someone can show me a dyno run or other hard data that says my intake is crap.

Essentially, I want to know if I would be better off getting an LS6 intake instead. With the 80mm BBK throttle body, would I need to go back to a stock TB if I did so? A FAST intake is out of the question due to price.

Would it be cheaper/easier to rig up a water/methanol injection system if the heat soak issue really is as bad as claimed by some, or just to change the intake?

Keep in mind the car is not going to be taken to the track (often). Mostly just for enjoying on the street, and showing my taillights to Mustangs when I deem it necessary.

I say leave it alone. If you are happy with the way the car runs, enjoy it.

I'm running an 80mm BBK throttle body on a stock LS6 manifold without any problems. I don't think I'd get rid of the BBK manifold though. It may not make as much power as a Fast set up, but it may be a step up from the LS6.

BBk has a good name,I would leave it alone as from your profile it is pretty well matched brand wise across the board.
