Strange Temp Behavior
Last last couple of mornings, when I've started driving the car, the temperature gauge comes up to temp more quickly than normal, and continues to about 240-245 deg. The mornings have been cool (65-70 deg), and this even happens in 5th or 6th gear, so the rpms are low.
I'll wait until I know it's at temp, and then I rev the engine pretty well (usual drop a gear and punch it). The gauge then drops to the expected temp range (200-205 deg) it normally runs at, and works fine after that.
'02 vert, intake, ported throttle body, exhaust...
Any ideas?
