Where are those numbers from? I was under the impression that TPIS were worth around 15 HP gain???
I put on my FLP kit at home with my car about 20" high. The drivers side goes on from underneath, the passanger side from top. As far as peformance I droped 3 tenths on the motor runs and 1/2 second on a 200 shot. Granted thats on a H/C/I car. FLP told me they got 26 hp on a stock C5. Sound is awsome.

what i am saying is tpis will gain 15-18hp, where some of the headers at double the price say about 20hp, so the difference is very minimal for the $
RK Sport headers are almost exactly like the TPIS. Same tube size, coated etc. They have flanges, though, at the collector. That is much nicer. You can easily remove, reinstall your exhaust system thatway. We have them at about $100 cheaper than the TPIS.

Good point - misunderstood your original statement. I'm thinking Belanger, although more $'s, because they claim better low end response because of their Y tube design. Don't know if it's worth the extra couple hundred $'s.

I have the Belangers and like them, if i do it over id save the $500 though.
Andy, are you saying the RK Sport headers / with flange, bolt on to the stock system ? Or, how can you easily go back to stock with these ? Price sounds great, they look good to, are they coated at that price ? Thanks, Skip :chevy
You still have to weld the reducer to the stock system. But the reducer can be unbolted with the whole intermediate section and dropped like the TTS. I just don't care for that slip joint and H thing in the TPIS. They are coated also.
