Anyone able to offer help or suggestions? Have a 2000 vette that's been awesome but just recently the check engine light came on. Ran through the codes and the 2 that came up are:
It's an AT, not 6-sp. No aftermarket anything on the car.
10-PCM P0753
28-TCS C1217
It's not shifting properly. Anyone else have this issue before? What's the typical cost to repair? Can you take it to a general transmission shop or for something like this...only the dealership (where I've had most work done on it).
First code seems to indicate you have a shot 1-2 solenoid in your tranny.
Second code tells you have a problem with your EBCM, most likely a grounding issue. You should check pins on the connectors to the EBCM, grounds and fuses.
Maybe Bill Curlle can chime in and help you with this. On the first code it might also be an electrical problem, like a bad ground or connector..
Thank you for the info! I'm calling a few places today to get the vette in for repair. I'm not able to make these repairs myself so I need to find someone to do it. Thanks again!
