Belanger Headers - Anyone have experience with them?

Belanger Headers - Anyone have experience with them?
They are a bit more than TPIS and others, but claim better numbers since they have a so called Y configuration. Any one install them and how have they performed? I did a search on Belangers, but found nothing.

I had them and highly recommend them. I went to the LG LT headers and picked up 5 rwtq and 11 rwhp over the Belangers. If you want to squeeze every last drop of HP & TQ out of your car, go with LG's headers, but if you want the 2nd best solution, yes, I recommend the Belangers. :cheers:

Nate is installing Belanger headers on my car tomorrow, March 14th. We dynoed the car before, and will dyno the car after the install. Will keep ya posted ! 2001 Coupe, 6sd, Z51, Donaldson, GMS MAF, Corsa X-pipe and exhaust: 330.9 RWHP 348.5 RWTQ before Belangers....

I got mine thru Corvette's of Houston. In fact, Paul may still have the set that came off my car (they were on for 3 weeks) and may sell them at a discount. Give him a call, 281-821-1222. :cheers:

I know the numbers are awesome for a header, but I was told that they hang a bit down on the underside - are you lowered? And I know I saw it before, a little lazy here, but what is the price of the LG's?

Ok guys the install went great ! I have not had the chance to jump on the car yet, but I can feel the car pulling stronger than before. Belanger manufactures the headers where I live, in Phoenix, AZ. Belanger said to drive the car for a few days to let the pcm re-learn, then do the dyno pulls. So sorry for the delay, I promise to post the dyno numbers as soon I do it. Will probably be early next week.

JWSchmidt3, did you run cats with the belangers? do you have cats with the LG LT headers now? 11rwhp is a huge difference... I was thinking of the LG LT headers before I did the Belangers but didn't want to wait for them but I did not realise that there was that much of a horsepower difference.. do you have a dyno graph of the belangers vs the LG LT's?

I just want to point out that the biggest gains that we saw on JW's car and Randy Goss' car, was with the "Merge Collectors. the production collectors are just that, production. Don't get me wrong, the production headers/collectors are good, but not as good as the"Merge" system.
We are still experimenting with a couple of different designs for the production collectors. We hope to get closer to the merge system.
