Question: LS9 damper
Do anyone know if the ls9 stock damper fits Ls6?
I have a LS9 engine in our workshop and it looks like it will fit.
And its 11ribs
But I dont want to take the damper of the ls9 just to check if it fits.

The LS9 crank snout is longer than the LS6. I don't know if that would affect dampener fit or not but I'd guess it would.

Why would you want the LS9 damper?

Keep in mind that the LS9 harmonic balancer is tuned to a different frequency than other LS units.
