Default column lock problem

we i guess the dreaded column lock issue has finally struck me. I had not read that much about this as i have not had any problems until this morning. The car starts and gives the pull key and wait 10 seconds. I did this the car started right up and i get a service steering column.put the car in gear and go to move and it dies. I have owned the car for a bout 18 months and not had a problem. I just assumed the fix had been done with the car being 10 years old. I realize now after doing a search that after the fix has been done that the column does not lock at all. Mine has locked as long as i have owned it. now the question is with the local dealer be open on Saturday.

Default column lock

What is weird is that the column locks and unlocks as it should> i just got off the phone with the dealer and her ran the vin for me and the recalls have already been done. My car starts fine and the column unlocks. The problem is when i try to move it dies. I have read that there is a automatic fuel shutoff that happens when the column lock is malfunctioning. Not sure where to look or start to troubleshoot this
