i just successfully lowered the front on the stock bolts. can anyone give me any idea on how much of the rubber bushing i should cut off on the rear stock bolts to keep it perfectly even with the front??? thanks in advance
Do not cut the rear rubber :nono: Obviously your front is lower than your rear so just get some longer grade 8 bolts and when you remove your rear bolts to put the new longer bolts on keep the stock bushings :yesnod: Hope this helps

oh i see, i was following the instructions in the "tech tips" section for lowering. it says to cut the bushings
at the present time it looks like the distance between my rear tires and lip fender is higher by 1" than the front height. my goal is to make it even all around.
Rob,
I could be a little confused here. What's new?
It sounds like you have not adjusted the rear spring bolts down yet.
Loosen them until you have about 2 threads showing. That will get you close to even with the front.
Others are correct. Never, never cut the rear bushings. Only cut the front if necessary.
