grounds are good. i can try to load each cyl up maually with a shot of fuel by pinning the injectors, or a shot of start fluid i guess...
need to get it to fire and at to get a code to light up?

should be able to generate a code by cranking, especially if it was a crankshaft sensor, etc.
Sounds like you have spark though. I would not try to load each cylinder, because you don't know how much fuel is accumulating.
well just crawled out from under it...
pulled the 3 pin crank weatherpack, power, ground and traced the blue/white at the crank sensor over to the pcm pin 12 and everything good with .1ohm.
no corosion at all in the blue or red pcm conectors at all. car only has 17k on it
side note, sprayed 4-5 seconds of ether in the intake track with the air filter removed and still doesnt even attempt to fire! how much ether is safe to shoot in there with the glass nylon intake???
i had the general misfire code 300 or whatever when it stumbled, but since then no pcm codes have came up at all. on another c5 i had a long time ago the #1 coil failed and it identified that to me on the dic. i did not check for spark on all 8 though just 4 i think 2 on each side....

I can't answer that for certain. I would say, based on your explanation, that should have been enough....when I did it, I had someone cranking the motor over so it was drawn in.
The service manual does note, that you have to crank the engine for 15 seconds, in an attempt to get a code to set...when none is displayed. I know this is hard on the battery, but might be worth a try.
Also wondering, after you pulsed the fuel injectors manually, did you pull the plugs to see if the smelled of fuel?
ah, 15 seconds ok, no problem got plenty of battery( a pair of 55 ah in the rear cubbys one on each side plus one under the hood) voltage and current arnt an issue..
had a helper crank while i sprayed as well, this is just crazy. ill try the 15 sec crank now

crazy, after the 15 sec on crank while spraying ether into it , it stumbled to life ( still with no codes other than general misfire 300) and smoothed out, shut it down and going to get 5 gall of premium first before starting.
this all started when the tank went dry last night and we thought it was out of gas, but what really happend was the tank has been sitting for a year with old gas and must have scrounged the sludge off the tank into the fuel rails. all the injectors look good on a scan tool now and the pulse smoothed out! weird. thanks for the help..
