Tires run flat or non run flat

Maybe I'm just lucky and maybe I'll jinx myself by saying this but I've had to change 1 tire in the last 20 years due to a flat. This includes my wife & daughters cars as well. I think I'll go with those odds vs. sacrificing traction/safety/vehicle damage/etc. Not sure if the roads are better and/or the tires are better but seems like is extremely rare to see someone changing a tire on side of road these days. I'd be more worried about my alternator or battery leaving me stranded but not going to carry around extras and sometimes you either have to phone a friend or a tow truck and let your insurance co. pay the bill.

Every vette that I rode in with runflats rode hard and were noisy. The grip was also crappy as well as adding weight. My vote would be for the Kumhos, nonrun flat in wider than stock size. Discount Tire, $800. Im on my second set. No complaints.
