Default Window regulator P/N differences

The general population of this forum seems to be pretty handy with part numbers. I have searched to no solution. Does anyone know what makes the two numbers below different?

Car is a 01 z06.

15781690
20823061

It appears one is a LH and one a RH but does the Z06 have a different regulator? That would seem unlikely to me.

Thank you,
Philip

Be careful when ordering a window regulator. I recently replaced my right unit, and the item had been discontinued and a new one created as a replacement.

For whatever reason, the power connector is now different, and requires a pigtail adapter that you will need to install as well.

I didn't know this, and ordered the regulator online. The seller didn't realize the need for the pigtail wire adapter, and just sent the regulator. I then needed to call back and get the pigtail overnighted to me to finish the install.

Needless to say, I was not pleased with their oversight, as the parts computer apparently lists a big warning that the two are to be sold together - they didn't.

Be sure to call someone in person to order the unit so they know to get you the wiring adapter as needed.

The window regulator part numbers for my 2004 Z06 were
10344131 - left (did not show a new #)
10344132- right (new part #15781690)

I did not think the design had changed.

Anyone know what the number of this "pigtail" is? My dealer doesn't seem to see anything either.

Thank You,
Phil

When the changeover first happened, we as dealers, were not notified. We were just told the number changed and nothing about the connector was told to us. The first couple I had, I had to call GM to get details of what happened. Now, there is a note in the parts catalog regarding this. If you're interested in purchasing give me a call and I would be happy to help you out with it.

The part # for the pigtail connector needed for use with the new window regulator is 88988609.

I took this info directly from my invoice.
