Strange Electrical Issue

Strange Electrical Issue
The past 2 weeks our car has had the following issues:
1. Started off with Climate Control fan not turning on and has continued to not work.
2. Intermittently the passenger side window control and autolock does not work. Sometimes will begin working after turning the car off and on. At times, while driving they will work and then just quit.
3. Randomly driver side window control not work. Not always at the same time the passenger side is inoperable.
4. While driving, again randomly, gauges and radio stop working. Get message "Reduced Engine Power". Then after a few minutes, radio will come back on. Gauges will remain inoperable and message stays. Once car is turned off and back on everything is back to "normal".
I told my husband that it is almost like having a virus in the car's computer. I read in an earlier post how to get diagnostic codes. I will try this, but in the mean time has anyone heard of this madness? Thanks for any insight. BTW our car is 2001 with 103,000 miles if any of this will make a difference.
